Wired has recently called for the end of the web as we know it indicating in a highly colourful and dramatic diagram that the trend will be for web traffic to decline and peer to peer and video traffic to increase.
What then can we imply about banking channel adoption? If people are moving towards rich interactive video (Apple facetime is an example of this) they may also favour this approach to personal banking.
There is not much happening in this area as of yet, one solution seems to have the idea but it is unclear how much adoption and success they are seeing..
If the future of the internet is video, as Wired claims, perhaps the future of personal banking is.. personal?
